Kathy is a licensed acupuncturist specializing in musculoskeletal, sports medicine, acute and chronic multi-system conditions, including autoimmune diseases and post-COVID syndrome.
She is a board-certified Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed to practice acupuncture in NJ. She graduated from Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine (ESATM) in 2017, where she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese and 5 Element techniques. She completed her Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture there in 2021. She also holds a B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Seton Hall University and is board certified by the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board and licensed in NJ. Her experience working as a nuclear medicine technologist for many years has been invaluable and is very complimentary to working as an acupuncturist. Kathy specializes in electroacupuncture, which is the use of electric stimulation in combination with acupuncture, and is a firm believer in the use of acupuncture as a way to keep the body in balance. In addition, she is an avid fan of cupping and gua sha as a complementary treatment. Originally from Ocean County, Kathy enjoys healthy cooking, kayaking, bicycling, swimming and the beach.
