Amber Quinn, MSOTR/L is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey, providing rehabilitation services at the Tinton Falls location of Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine.
Amber began her journey as an Occupational Therapist after graduating from Alvernia University with a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2016. Since then, her professional journey has led her to work in various practice areas including acute, subacute, and skilled nursing. Amber has years of clinical experience treating a variety of disorders including orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and neurological conditions. She specifically has experience in the treatment of upper extremity conditions, including but not limited to carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral epicondylitis, elbow tendonitis and injuries, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis. Amber also has a knowledge base for treating patients with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis.
Amber has a passion for educating her patients about health and wellness and teaching about joint protection, energy conservation, activity modification, and training in the use of adaptive equipment. Amber takes a holistic approach to her treatment, and her goal is to increase her patients’ function and independence in their meaningful daily activities. She considers herself to be a lifelong learner, and she is also an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She recognizes the importance of evidence-based practice and keeping up to date with research to learn about new treatment strategies. Outside of work, Amber enjoys working out, learning how to cook new meals, spending time with family and friends, and spending time at the beach. Amber looks forward to a career of helping others to recover and regain their function and independence in all areas of their lives.
