Taylor Daton, OTD, OTR/L is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist providing Occupational Therapy services at the Jackson location of NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine. She received both her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science (2018) and Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy (2019) from Misericordia University. She then continued her education at Misericordia and received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy in 2021 while maintaining a successful full-time career in OT.
Since becoming board certified and licensed in 2019, Taylor has gained experience in long term care, subacute rehabilitation, and outpatient care. Taylor has clinical experience with a plethora of conditions including, but not limited to orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neurological conditions, and children with multiple disabilities. Currently, Taylor has a passion for working with patients who have been diagnosed with upper extremity and hand conditions.
Taylor thoroughly enjoys being an Occupational Therapist and helping others achieve their personal goals. She has a strong passion for helping others and has participated in international service trips providing training and education on Occupational Therapy to communities in need. As a former college athlete herself, she has the ability to work with individuals who have experienced injuries as a result of participation in sports, as well as individuals of all ages with a variety of diagnoses. Taylor wants to help patients not only become pain free, but also independent in participation in the daily activities that bring joy. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, participating in Spartan Races, and enhancing her knowledge. Taylor looks forward to a successful career helping others live life pain free and to its fullest.
