Jenine Girellini, MPT

Jenine Girellini, MPT is a physical therapist with over 17 years of experience treating orthopedic and neurological diagnoses among all age populations in a variety of settings.  

Jenine began her career in rehabilitating patients who suffer from spinal cord injuries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries, but for the past ten years of her career, her emphasis has been in treating post-surgical rehabilitation and patients with orthopedic injuries. Her experience allows her to see the value and results of working at Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine in a setting where she is part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides each patient with an effective individualized and comprehensive treatment plan. Jenine sees patients in our Jackson office.   

Jenine graduated from Stockton College summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology where she was honored as Salutatorian of her entire undergraduate class. She continued her graduate studies at Stockton and received her Masters in Physical Therapy degree summa cum laude with honors distinction. Jenine has continued her education throughout her career, earning numerous certificates in functional manual techniques which she incorporates into her treatment plans. She has also been an APTA certified clinical instructor for the past 15 years.  

Jenine has always had a desire to work in the medical field, particularly in the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Growing up as an athlete she gained respect for the human body and developed an aspiration to help people recover from injuries and disease. She is dedicated to her patients and aims to continue using her experience and knowledge to help each patient she treats to achieve their functional goals and optimal quality of life.
