Dr. Kathryn Brungard was born and raised in rural Iowa, where she grew up raising beef cattle and chickens on her family’s small farm. At 19, she suffered a sudden illness that left her with years of severe facial pain, forcing her college sporting career to end. After seeing dozens of medical specialists, it was visits to her hometown chiropractor that finally helped get her life back on track. She finished her bachelor’s degree early with honors before enrolling in chiropractic school in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Brungard is skilled in a wide range of osseous adjusting and soft tissue manipulations. She is certified to perform manipulations under anesthesia and is a fellow of the American College of MUA physicians. Dr. Brungard’s passion is working with providers of other specialties. She strongly feels that co-managing patients between any combination of chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, pain management, etc. is the best thing for the patient as a whole.
Out of the office, Dr. Brungard enjoys an adventurous and fit life style filled with cycling, mountain biking, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her best friend John.
