Alyssa Diaz, DPT

Alyssa is a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT), having graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. She completed a 6-year program — 3 years focused on completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and 3 years focused on completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Throughout her schooling, she gained experience in both outpatient orthopedic and inpatient settings, where she saw patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Alyssa is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and looks forward to continuing to learn about musculoskeletal conditions, gait dysfunctions, and sports rehab through her continuing education courses.

Alyssa currently treats patients at the Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine’s Aberdeen location. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and motivating each patient that she has the opportunity to work with. Alyssa became interested in physical therapy at a young age, after attending many physical therapy sessions with her grandmother. She has also always had a love for staying active and working out. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exercising, and exploring new dessert or coffee places.
