Andrea Allsop PT, DPT

Andrea Allsop, PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, currently offering rehabilitation services at Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine’s Wall office. Dr. Allsop has clinical experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders including hip and knee joint replacements, rotator cuff tears and repairs, spinal conditions, balance dysfunction, neuropathy, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Allsop has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2018. She understands the importance of evidence-based practice and stays up to date with current research and treatment approaches through Continuing Education courses. Dr. Allsop is very passionate about patient education and empowering her patients to return to their optimal functional performance.

Dr. Allsop completed her undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 2015, with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. She then attended University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2020.

Andrea was born and raised in New Jersey. Growing up, Andrea was always involved in sports and spent many years playing soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse. She became interested in Physical Therapy after recovering from a sports related ankle fracture, and attending sessions with her father after his knee replacement surgeries. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, and volunteering in her community with trail cleanups.
