Gianna Sherman, COTA

Gianna Sherman, COTA/L is a licensed and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant providing services at the Freehold location of Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Health Science with a concentration in Occupational Therapy from Stockton University (2017), and an Associates of Occupational Therapy Assistant from Rutgers University (2021).

Gianna has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, and pediatric settings. She commits herself to assist patients in return to their previous level of function when engaging in daily activities or occupations.

Gianna attended Stockton University and achieved a Bachelors in Health Science with a concentration in Occupational Therapy (2017) and an Associates in Occupational Therapy Assistant (2021). Following graduation from Stockton, she gained experience in health care with medical insurance and patient care as an office administrator at other outpatient offices.

Gianna has a deep passion for helping others and always wanting to benefit people's lives to their fullest potential. She encourages patients to celebrate the mini victories in their progress in therapy. Gianna also educates them that progress is not linear and is a slow and steady climb.
