Dr. Mina Shenouda is fellowship trained in Spine and Sports Medicine and residency trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R or Physiatry). Dr. Shenouda’s unique training and experiences qualifies him to manage a variety of non-surgical musculoskeletal, spine, joint, and neuropathic pain conditions. 

He offers his patients the latest in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. He incorporates ultrasound to diagnose and treat various musculoskeletal conditions, from nerve blocks, corticosteroid injections, viscosupplementation, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, and more. He also offers a variety of spinal interventions for pain management from epidural injections, facet/medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, and continues to incorporate the newest treatment options.

Dr. Shenouda sees patients in our Aberdeen, Freehold, Lincroft, Point Pleasant, Rahway, Tinton Falls, and Wall offices, and performs his fluoroscopic and spinal procedures at our ambulatory surgery center in Lakewood, NJ. He collaborates with our other highly qualified members of Northeast’s multidisciplinary treatment team to offer comprehensive treatment options.

Dr. Shenouda’s training experiences carried him throughout New Jersey. He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Physics from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then received his Medical Degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his preliminary training in Internal Medicine in Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. Following his interests in medicine, he went on to complete his residency training in the field of PM&R at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, NJ, where he was chosen to be Academic Chief during his senior year. He then completed his fellowship training here at Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine under the guidance of some of our distinguished medical physicians. During his training, he also received his Acupuncture Certification from SUNY Downstate.
