Dr. Lopez is a cofounder and director of Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine. His clinical interests include: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Non-Surgical Orthopedic, Spine and Sports Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Clinical and Performance Nutrition, and Optimal Aging. Dr. Lopez received his training at the world renowned Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine - Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. An active researcher, speaker and author, he has presented nationally and published articles, abstracts, and book projects on various topics related to nutrition, stroke, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain disorders, athletic performance, optimal aging, and physican-based exercise prescription. Dr. Lopez directs patient care to optimize outcomes by combining the best methods from the fields of musculoskeletal medicine, fitness, nutrition and physical rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Dimitrios Lambrou is co-founder and director of Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Lambrou established Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine of Point Pleasant in the spring of 2001 as the area’s premier conservative care and non-surgical based pain management
center. His collaborative efforts in joining forces with various disciplines has made Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine the center of excellence in promoting intergrative care promoting health and wellness. Dr. Lambrou has completed graduate level studies in the fields of whiplash and auto related injuries, chronic pain, neuropathic pain, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Lambrou holds certification in performing Manipulation under Anesthesia, a viable treatment option for those who suffer with chronic shoulder and lower back pain, when conservative therapies have failed. Dr. Lambrou is also board certified in electrodiagnostic testing, which helps determine precise locations of nerve injury . Dr. Lambrou is a member of the American Society of Spine Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management, American College of Sports Medicine and International Chiropractic Society.

 

Dr. Robert Lambrou is a renowned, board certified chiropractic physician. Established in 2004, Dr. Lambrou has made Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine of Jackson, a leading pain management and wellness institute. His ability to strike a perfect balance between understanding a patient’s dynamic needs and implementation of cutting edge advancements in the treatment of pain, has made him a leader in integrating conservative
treatment methods. Dr. Lambrou holds certification in performing Manipulation under Anesthesia, a viable treatment option for those who suffer with chronic shoulder and lower back pain. He also board certified in electrodiagnostic testing, to further aid with the proper diagnosis and treatment of nerve problems.
He is a member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management and Association of NJ Chiropractors. In 2003 he became recognized as a
Distinguished Fellow of Clinical Spinal Biomechanics, 1 of 350 doctors in the world to be held with such distinction.

 

Dr. Kevin Hsu is a fellowship-trained interventional physiatrist, board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  His clinical interests include:  Interventional Pain Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Musculosleketal, Spine and Sports Medicine.  His focus is on the treatment of acutely and chronically painful conditions relating to the spine, nerves, muscles and joints.  Dr. Hsu combines clinical findings, diagnostic imaging, electrodiagnostic studies, and targeted fluoroscopically guided procedures to accurately diagnose and effectively treat painful conditions including: nerve entrapment, musculoskeletal/sports injuries, herniated discs, “sciatica”, low back pain, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, hip pain, knee pain, sacroiliac joint pain, spinal stenosis, and spinal arthritis.

 

Matthias Wiederholz, M.D. is a fellowship-trained interventional physiatrist, or physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. His practice is focused on the treatment of pain, including advanced spinal interventions. He also treats musculoskeletal disorders, including arthritis, acute and chronic sports injuries, and nerve injuries. In addition, he utilizes electrodiagnostic studies in the diagnosis of nerve and muscle disorders. Dr. Wiederholz is trained to perform include epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, radiofrequency lesioning, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral joint injections, trigger point injections, sympathetic blocks, discograms, IDET, percutaneous disc decompression, spinal cord stimulator trials, and cervical and lumbar spinal cord stimulator implant.

 

Dr. Joseph Jimenez is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist at Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine. His clinical interests include: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Non-operative
Spine and Sports medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Stroke Rehabilitation, Clinical/Performance Nutrition, Athletic performance enhancement, and Medical Acupuncture. He is an active clinical researcher in the area of optimizing rehabilitation from stroke, brain injury, musculoskeletal/joint and sports and injury utilizing cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques, complementary medicine, and nutrition in an integrative fashion for optimal physical function and performance.
