Nicole Shea OTD, OTR/L

  • Occupational Therapist

Nicole is an Occupational Therapist who earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Monmouth University in 2025, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy Studies at Stockton University in 2021. Her interest in occupational therapy began after seeing the meaningful difference OT made in her younger cousin’s life, inspiring her to pursue a career centered on helping people regain function and confidence in their everyday activities.
Nicole completed clinical rotations in an emerging practice setting working with adults with dementia, as well as in home healthcare, where she treated clients in their own environments. These experiences strengthened her appreciation for individualized, functional care and meeting patients where they are. In the outpatient orthopedic setting, Nicole enjoys helping patients return to the activities they love, whether that’s work, exercise, or daily routines by focusing on hands-on treatment, patient education, and achievable goal setting.

She values building genuine connections with her patients and finds the greatest reward in helping individuals accomplish goals they never thought were possible. Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family, interests that align with her passion for helping others stay active and engaged in their lives.
