Nicole Russo, MSOTR/L is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist providing occupational therapy services at the Point Pleasant location of Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine. She received both her Bachelors of Science (2019) and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (2020) degrees from The University of Scranton. Nicole is the first occupational therapist to join the Northeast family, adding the element of holistic occupation-based rehabilitation to help individuals succeed and thrive in their daily lives and activities.
Nicole is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and has completed countless hours of community service. She has held many leadership positions, including Head Resident Assistant and Recreational Sports Supervisor. She played elite soccer her entire life and has always enjoyed watching hockey with her family. Aside from sports, Nicole enjoys spending time with her loved ones and crafting. She loves spending time outdoors — particularly when it comes to skiing and going to the beach.
Nicole always knew she wanted to be in a helping profession, but it was not until her older sister became an occupational therapist that she knew what field she wanted to be in. She saw the positive affect her career had on her patient’s lives and it inspired her to choose the same path. Nicole has experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings and enjoys working with populations of all ages. She is elated to continue spending her career helping to increase her patients’ quality of life through occupational therapy.
